Message from the Principal

The school years are a one-off journey delivering opportunities and experiences which resonate throughout a lifetime.

At Scotch we achieve outstanding success in those things societies like to measure whilst valuing a full school life that sets the same expectations when pursuing academic goals, pulling on a football jumper, tuning a cello, learning lines for a play or heading off to camp.

We believe in establishing sound foundations while lighting the fires for future growth. Strong traditions breed values of integrity, tolerance and service, while educational research delivers an innovative curriculum promoting curiosity and self-worth. We are fortunate with our extensive grounds, exceptional facilities and staff of real commitment who, in building relationships of trust and intimacy, create the space for boys to question, initiate and lead.
We value each boy's time with us. It is a journey based on Christian principles; one full of energy and diversity; one that unearths interests and talents; and one we believe leaves boys in great shape for the next leg in a challenging, exciting world.

I've always said that what Scotch does best is help boys find their passions in life. For me, this was theatre. The staff and facilities at Scotch helped me to pursue this interest wholeheartedly - something that has continued into my adult life. In 2013, I joined The Ten Tenors (an international singing group) where I performed a mixture of rock, opera and pop songs to crowds in America, Europe, Australia and Asia. I've since gone on to pursue postgraduate study in London, undertaking a masters degree in theatre producing and entrepreneurship. It is my ambition to work in the entertainment industry bringing the best of the West End and Broadway to Australia. I owe much to my experience at Scotch; it helped me - like so many others - embark on a journey following my passion and experiencing the great fulfilment from taking up life's many opportunities!
