About Braemar College
Braemar College is a regional, independent, coeducational school of choice. The new Woodend Campus, located east of Woodend, is home to the Middle School, while the Mount Macedon Campus, located on the northern slopes of Mount Macedon, remains the home of the Senior School.
At Braemar College, we strive to achieve optimal student engagement, instilling a motivation to learn that enables young people to realise their potential. Contemporary learning and teaching practices foster creativity, innovation, and critical thinking. We pride ourselves on a school culture that celebrates academic endeavour and achievement.
We seek to nurture the whole student through wellbeing programs that promote positive relationships, support individual differences, and ensure students have the best possible opportunities to develop in mind, body, and spirit. We encourage participation in a wide range of co-curricular activities, including sport and the arts.
Braemar College values strong community connections. Through service opportunities, we encourage young people to be active contributors to their community, both locally and globally. This fosters a sense of community, compassion, mutual respect, and integrity.
Our strategic vision is to become an ELC to Year 12 school; future development of Braemar’s Woodend Campus supports that vision.
