Message from the Principal

I am delighted to lead the St Aloysius College community as we look ahead to next year’s commencement of the transition of St Aloysius College to co-education. While we honour the rich history and enduring traditions of our college, we strive toward writing an exciting new chapter in the St Aloysius story. The college will continue to deliver a curriculum forged from the Mercy tradition, upholding Catherine McAuley’s vision of a balance in education of academic learning with compassion for others and a genuine consideration for our world. Our curriculum is designed around service for our planet and wider community, through which students are empowered to develop and uphold the Mercy values of compassion, justice, respect, hospitality, courage and service. St Aloysius students thrive in an environment of inspired curiosity, agency and brilliance, supporting every individual to develop their own opinions, find their own voice, and walk their own path to confidently contribute to an ever-changing world.
