Message from the Principal

Haileybury aspires to be a great world school. This acclaim is the result of our remarkable student education outcomes achieved through our highly successful Parallel Education Model, brilliant teachers, and great entrepreneurial spirit. All this is underlined by a rich history and list of achievements stretching back to 1892.

At Haileybury we use that motto that ‘every student matters every day’. Learning starts at an early age through flexible and creative programs in our Early Learning Centres. Core literacy and numeracy skills are developed through the use of explicit instruction in the Junior Years.

In the Middle Years a combination of explicit instruction and student-centred learning is used to broaden analytical thinking and problem solving. An exciting Year 9 development program provides opportunities for students to establish independence and resilience. The three-year VCE Program in the Senior Years, coupled with a wide range of available subject choices, ensures there are programs to suit all students' interests and abilities.
