Carwatha College P–12 is a vibrant, co-educational college that caters to approximately 650 students from Preparatory to Year 12. Located at the intersection of Noble Park North, Mulgrave, and Dandenong North, our diverse community proudly represents over 65 nationalities.With a dedicated team of 75 equivalent full-time (EFT) staff—including 3 Principal Class members, 50 teachers, and 25 support staff—we strive to create a safe, caring, and stimulating environment that fosters academic achievement, personal growth, and wellbeing for every student.Our college motto, “Learning Together,” reflects our core belief in the importance of positive, collaborative relationships among students, teachers, and parents. The P–12 structure is a unique strength, allowing both primary and secondary students and staff to benefit from shared facilities, expertise, and broader learning opportunities.We are committed to innovative, inclusive teaching and learning practices. Through effective use of Information and Communication Technologies and a range of support, enrichment, and extension programs, we cater to the diverse learning needs of our student body. These programs include:· V3 Program – An innovative three-year VCE pathway that enables students to undertake additional subjects, increasing their chances of academic success and improving ATAR outcomes.· SEE Program (Select Entry Excellence) – Designed for high-achieving students who demonstrate academic excellence, strong task commitment, and creativity. This program begins in Year 7 and continues until students transition into the V3 Program in Year 10.· Primary Maths Enrichment Program – Provides students in Years 5 and 6 with high mathematical aptitude the opportunity to work with senior secondary maths teachers, extending their learning through more abstract and in-depth material.· Carwatha Football College (CFC) – A specialised program integrating academic and athletic pathways for students passionate about soccer. CFC fosters a positive and disciplined environment that supports excellence on the field and in the classroom.Over the past three years, Carwatha College P–12 has demonstrated strong growth in key performance areas including NAPLAN results, VCE achievement, student attitudes to school, and attendance. Our results are now above state in most of these measures.
