The Victorian Government committed to deliver 100 new schools between 2019 and 2026. This commitment includes Clyde Creek Primary School, opened in 2022. In its first year of operation, Clyde Creek Primary School will open to students from year levels F – 6. In the second year of operation, 2023, a specialist hub for 50 students (levels F-6) with mild to profound intellectual disability will open on the site of the school. The state-of-the-art school will cater to the diverse needs of all students and support the needs of the growing population. The Clyde Creek Primary School community was consulted about the design of the school and valued room for students to be active, natural outdoor areas that reflect the surrounding environment and modern learning facilities that support diverse curriculums.
