St Augustine’s College is a Prep-Year 12 contemporary co-educational Catholic College, located in Augustine Heights QLD, in the rapidly developing area of Greater Springfield.
Offering high quality and inclusive delivery of the Australian curriculum, which is supported by innovative facilities, modern technologies, passionate staff and Brisbane Catholic Education. The college implements an impressive Device Program, in addition to our All-Inclusive Fee structure, meaning an affordable Catholic Education for our families.
Our Augustinian values are Unitas (unity), Caritas (love) and Veritas (truth) — this is demonstrated by our unique and welcoming community situated on one campus, made up of four precincts: Early Years (P–2), Junior Years (3–5), Middle Years (6–9) and Senior Years (10–12).
Our master-planned campus is beautifully landscaped with flexible learning areas and award-winning buildings such as our Senior Years Hub, Eli’s Gym or Bloxsidge Centre (library).
There are various sporting, cultural and networking opportunities with an active Parents & Friends Association who organise fantastic events to stay connected. Our dedicated staff make it possible to offer extra-curricular activities for our students, including:
- inter-school debating
- STEAM and coding clubs
- choir and dance groups
- instrumental music programs
- after-school sport
- sporting competitions (SECA, Met West and more)
- Japanese and arts clubs
- student voice and volunteer events
- advanced golf and athlete development programs.
There is something for every type of learner, complimented by holistic learning experiences such as retreat days, leadership camps and community service to create conscientious members of society. Students and families are also supported by a team including the Assistant Principal – Student Wellbeing, Pastoral Leaders and Student Services (Guidance Counsellors, Specialist Teachers – Inclusive Education, Speech Pathologists and trained School Officers). This is in conjunction with behaviour and recognition of achievement programs.
Being a Prep–Year 12 college means a seamless learning journey, with students learning responsibility from being student leaders as they progress through to Year 12. We take pride in preparing our students for post-schooling pathways with the assistance of our Pathways Team, various VET offerings, work experience program and community partnerships.
