Stuart High School

It is with pleasure that I welcome you to Stuart High School. Located in Whyalla, Stuart High School is a middle school campus with a Special Education class 8 – 12. We are an ideal sized school that allows us to develop deep understanding of the students we care for and teach. We acknowledge that the foundation for academic outcomes stems from strong and positive relationships. We also believe that students flourish when the school community is held to high expectations and when students receive support that best meets their individual goals. Our engagement in the Berry Street Education Model underpins our commitment to strengthen education outcomes for all of our students. I believe this is an important point of difference distinguishing us from other schools. We are committed to creating programs that build on each student’s talents, passions and abilities. We pride ourselves on our ability to offer a wide range of curriculum and extra curricular activities to our students delivered by a conscientious and dedicated staff who work closely with our parents and wider community. Quality learning programs are reflected throughout our curriculum offerings, with students engaging in a wide range of core and elective subjects and vocational education offered cross-site as part of the Whyalla Secondary Schools’ Alliance.
