It provides young women with an outstanding, affordable Catholic education based on the Mercy values of compassion, justice, excellence, integrity, and service. The College has a rich history starting in 1846 with the arrival of the Sisters of Mercy and we are now celebrating our 177th anniversary year.

We have a dedicated team of staff members committed to assisting students to achieve their full potential. Students often refer to staff members ‘going the extra mile’. Pupils attending Mercedes College are given many opportunities and the College is recognised for its performing arts, sporting achievements and the concern students show for social justice issues.
