At De La Salle College, we provide a holistic learning environment that offers uniquely structured programs and committed staff that enable our young men to be educated in a respectful and supportive environment.
Innovative Pathways options and specialised programs ensure De La Salle students are challenged and supported throughout their school years. Our support networks, committed teaching staff and evolving technologies ensure our students reach their full potential, as individuals.
Our curriculum and co-curricular programs reflect the Lasallian ethos, and school activities are designed to be engaging and challenging with the aim to value the individual, acknowledge differences in learning styles and reflect an emphasis on personal achievement.
We prepare our students to fully participate in society with the skills for life-long learning and a foundation based on the Lasallian faith experience to value, respect and welcome all. Respect is the foundation of all relationships at our College and every student is known as an individual. Teachers work in a close partnership with parents and students, and our dedicated Wellbeing Staff are experts at developing integrated care strategies for students.
De La Salle has three campuses – Tiverton, Holy Eucharist and Kinnoull. Each campus is aligned to each stage of your son’s development from Year 5 to Year 12.
Our extensive range of co-curricular opportunities complements classroom learning and provides a broadening of perspective for our students. From music and drama to self-defence, overseas exchanges and social justice initiatives, there really is something to engage every young man.
Our school is proud of our open enrolment policy. De La Salle College does not have designated priority parish catchment zones, therefore, we can draw widely from all parts of Melbourne, with all Catholic primary schools given priority in the enrolment process.
“We understand that the educational experience extends well beyond the classroom. Friendships, a broad co-curricular experience, social and emotional wellbeing and building self-esteem are critical hallmarks of a robust and effective boys’ education program.” — Mr Peter Houlihan, Principal
